Male Arm Lift / Reduction
An arm lift / reduction is a procedure that helps to improve the contouring of the upper arm through surgical techniques that remove fat and excess, sagging skin. Loose skin on the underside of the arms can appear following weight loss, or through ageing, with this procedure fulfilling the desired look that diet and exercise has not been able to achieve.
The benefits from undergoing this procedure provide you with a more natural and aesthetically pleasing shape to the arm, as well as helping to boost your self-confidence so you can feel comfortable to wear what you want. Other body contouring procedures can be carried out alongside the arm lift to help produce a firm and toned look to the entire body.

In-depth Procedure Information
The Consultation
Assessing your concerns at the consultation will help us to determine how much excess fat and skin needs to be removed. This in turn will influence the specific technique that we intend to use to reach your expected goal. All risks and complications will be outlined and a second consultation will be recommended so you can take some time to consider your options.
At Reshape & Restore we are able to let the results of others speak for themselves. Putting you in touch with other male patients who have undergone an arm lift / reduction allows you to see how effective the procedure can be and hear how its outcome has helped to transform not just the patient’s body, but also their life.
The Procedure
In many cases, the arm lift / reduction procedure can be performed in combination with liposuction, which removes excess deposits of fat. To lift and tighten loose or sagging skin, an incision will need to be made on the underside of the upper arm. This will allow for the skin to be trimmed and pulled together before closing the wound. Depending on how much excess skin is affecting the arm, the incision may vary from a small cut made near to the armpit, to a longer cut that runs from the armpit down towards the elbow.
Aftercare & Results
Making a follow-up appointment will be required before you go home. You won’t be able to drive yourself, so it would be essential that you make arrangements for someone to escort you home. You will be given advice on the best course of pain relief to use and surgical support garments may be fitted, along with advice on the length of time you will need to wear them for. Swelling, bruising and discomfort could last for a few weeks, so you will need to lower your levels of activity and avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting.
When the arms have significantly recovered, you may start to notice the results of the surgery. Sagging skin should be dramatically reduced, leaving behind firm and youthful looking arms. The outcome of this procedure can also improve other related concerns including: sweating, ill-fitting clothing and stretch marks.

Just as women can experience a lack of confidence if the arms do not look as firm and toned as desired, so can men.
