What happens during plastic surgery to reduce my breast size in Worcester?

During breast reduction surgery, your surgeon will work through incisions under your breasts to remove excess fat, loose skin and unwanted glandular tissue.

It will also be possible to remodel the remaining breast tissue into a more aesthetically pleasing shape.

If there is a large amount of excess fatty tissue, your surgeon may choose to use liposuction as part of the procedure.

Sometimes, the areola is reduced to complement your new breast size.

These options will be fully discussed at your initial consultation, and you will be fully aware of what your breast reduction surgery will involve before the operation begins.

Will I need a breast lift during my reduction surgery in Worcester?

Many women choose to have a breast uplift procedure as part of their breast reduction.

An uplift will ensure a perfect finished result as it will restore the breasts to a higher, more youthful position on the chest wall.

Your surgeon will discuss the advantages of a breast uplift for your surgery at your initial consultation.

Will my breast surgery in Worcester leave scars?

Mr Khan and Mr Chapman place the surgical incisions in the breast crease to ensure that scars are hidden.

How long will my breast reduction surgery take?

Breast reduction surgery takes around three hours.

Your plastic surgery will be performed under a general anaesthetic and will require at least one night in the Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester.

How long does it take to recover from plastic surgery to reduce breast size?

You will stay in the hospital overnight, and pain relief will be provided.

Patients need to wear a supportive garment after breast reduction surgery. Although unglamorous, this garment is essential to support your muscles and skin as they heal.

Your progress will be carefully monitored at follow-up appointments at the Worcester clinic during the weeks and months after your procedure.

When can I return to my normal activities after my breast reduction?

It is essential that you give your body time to heal and avoid any strenuous activities until your surgeon at the Worcester clinic advises that you are ready. This may take up to three months.

When will I see the results of my breast surgery?

Breast Reduction WorcesterOnce the post-operative swelling and tenderness of your breast reduction surgery have disappeared, you will be delighted with your new breasts.

Your breasts will be smaller, lighter and more youthful in profile. Your self-confidence will soar, and you will be able to choose the clothes you want to wear rather than have your style dictated by the size of your breasts.

What is the cost of breast reduction surgery?

The cost of this procedure at the Worcester clinic starts at £ 6,800.

However, it is not possible to give a conformed figure until after your first consultation. If your procedure includes a breast uplift, areola reduction or additional techniques like liposuction, the cost may be different.
